Islamic architecture has long been one of the most culturally significant typologies, serving not only as centers for community and social engagement but also as embodiments of Muslim beliefs, morals, and the rich histories of nations. This mosque reinterprets classical Ottoman architectural traditions through a contemporary design language, translating the poetics, phenomenology, and spatial dialects of Ottoman architecture into today’s materials and construction techniques. Central to the design approach is the concept of stylization: the interplay of human scale, the oneness of God, and spatial poetry is carefully abstracted and articulated to create a modern expression that honors the depth and rhythm of Ottoman architectural principles while providing a functional and meaningful worship environment.
