Located within the Mandarin Oriental Bodrum and surrounded by breathtaking vistas, this residence is designed to enhance the seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces. Inspired by the Oriental heritage of the complex and the richness of the local cultural context, the design emphasizes simplicity, natural harmony, and refined material choices. Wooden surfaces, marble, decorative plaster finishes, and custom-made furnishings are paired with organic fabrics and curvilinear forms, preserving the authentic character while meeting functional needs. The bedrooms and front yard were fully realized, showcasing expressive yet harmonious design, while the main living area was developed as a conceptual proposal, offering a complementary and inviting environment. Neutral tones and textures that evoke natural materials unify the newly added interior areas, and careful attention to furniture and spatial solutions ensures comfort and usability throughout the year, enhancing the residence’s timeless livability.
