This residence brings historic craftsmanship into dialogue with contemporary architecture, shaping a home where tradition and modernity are held in equilibrium.
The residence is conceived as a dialogue between historic craftsmanship and contemporary design. Original features such as Georgian, Neoclassical, and Regency moldings, along with solid boiserie-paneled doors, are carefully preserved, while new elements introduce a modern layer to the architecture. The spatial organization centers on a connecting core that links the main rooms, creating both visual continuity and fluid circulation throughout the house. The facades reflect this internal order: the placement of openings reveals the position of staircases and gallery spaces, giving subtle clues to the arrangement inside. Despite these expressive gestures, the elevations remain harmonious and balanced. Refined marble bathrooms and interconnected living areas further highlight the balance between elegance and function. The project presents the residence as both a home and a study in architectural coherence, where past and present are integrated into a unified whole.
